Different hand signals represent different meanings and appeals originated from different cultures of the world. They have their own airspace while being interlinked and supported by each other, constituting a harmonious and wonderful Planet that we live on. The sculpture Galaxy K: The Peaceful Sky embodies “justice, freedom, tolerance, order and dignity” and prays for world peace. Adopting 3D printing, cutting-edge digital technologies and contemporary art approach, the sculpture expresses the diversified and intermingled global cultures, highlighting the unique and vibrant energy of Netherlands, the most open-minded, inclusive and creative land ever in the world.
